if most of your driving is city, get gears.. you will use less pedal to get to speed.. but of course gears are fun so you might use more pedal.. depends how you use it

Is'nt the fuel pump in the tank?If so,I would not run it that low on gas, because there is a chance of your pump getting hot with no fuel to keep it cool and it could lead to premature wear.I would try not to run it under a 1/4 of a tank.My .02.

Im about 50/50 hw/city. I just hit 310.1 on my last tank, 320some on my tank before. Apparently driving my car hard gives me better milage

Granted I do run Premium which is $2.01 now

I think people need to post that they do or dont top of their tank. If you do top off your tank like i do you should get atleast 270 a tank city driving and 300-310 on the freeway. If your not, then there maybe some maintenance you need to do on your vehicle.

I've noticed my highway mileage has dropped from 28 when the car was brand new to about 24 on average lately. I think it may have to do with fuel filter. Do you guys think the fuel filter will drastically affect gas mileage? Scheduled maintenance is 30k miles according to the book.
