hey side note question, My car is due for its first oil change now but i'm putting the car away probally within the next week or so for winter, Should I get the oil changed now and just have it sit all winter or should i wait till spring when i pull the car out and ahve it changed the first day?

I know what you mean about the weather! I just put my car away on October 31, and I miss it already. I didn't change the oil before I put it away. It has about 2,300km on the oil so it's not too bad (but I will change it before I put it away in the future). If you have the opportunity, I would change the oil before you put it away, it will help prevent the build-up of sludge in your oil pan.

Yeah i was out yesterday. Damn wind storm! Nearly got hit by a green bin! Anyways, Greg, id suggest an oil change befre you put it away. Just my preference. i usually do one before storage. Be sure to run the motor after the change to get it up to temp. Also make sure your gas tank is full, and doesnt hurt to use some fuel stablizer.

Luckly still no snow here

i am getting it done monday morning and i'll probally drive the car till next sunday so it will have one week of the oil in it which should be fine i assume??? then just fill up the gas tank and leave 3 quarters to a full tank it it for winter.

this blows!!! i think we should all live in florida so i can put my roof down in the middle of january!!!!

5 months of using my gf/s car and the bus begins next week (ughhhhh) definatly getting a winter beater next year!

Yesterday was actually pretty good.
Today isn't bad either, but I need to drive my vert, it's driving me crazy!

I say we all take our cars to florida for a road trip
I hear they have summer year round there...
