I was just on the MGW website and it looks like they don't offer a blue or red handle anymore, just an orange one...and it looks like the angle that the shift knob is screwed on at is tilted back some now...I'm not sure I'd like that, good thing I got the red one I guess...

as a result of cusotmer feedback i decided to change the center shaft design by lowering it a bit in the back. this was to allow the boot to just fit a little more conventionally.

as an added benefit of doing this i was actually able to make one handle design that has the reach of the red with the height of the blue. this eliminates the need to buy 2 handles.

the tilt back is actually VERY slight and is really only done to give just that little bit more reach for those with long legs.

here is a pic which describes it pretty clearly.

regards
george

ok cool! i gotta tell you i ordered it yesterday... and i freaked out like "where is the effin blue???"

now that you explained that i feel much better. Thanks dude, gotta try these out with the new gears and tire combo. Have been hating myself for still having the crappy stock ford shifter :ugh: Have heard a lot of good reviews about your product and a lot of people i know with fast cars use your shifter

I didn't look at the site yet but I think I want to order the orange one. Is there any pricing increase for this handle vs. the others?

Thanks,
Alan

I just looked at the website and don't see the orange handle for sale at all. I'd like to try it out.

Anyone want to trade the orange for my red handle?

Alan

I installed the new orange handle on my 99 Cobra two weeks ago. I am more than happy with it and everything went real smooth. Also there is NO additional tranny noise. If anything it is quieter. Thanks MGW

I couldn't find it on their site either. Is it available seperately?

You could probably contact them and see if he'll sell you one separately like he did with the red and blue ones...
