Changed my header gaskets today cause they were blown, and once i got the bbk's back on and everything put back together, my buddy and i took her for a spin through town before we put the X and catback on. All i can say is holy shiiit! sounded like i was driving a top fuel dragster (although unfortunately not as fast lol). It was echoing off buildings way off the road, and at WOT it was simply ridiclous. Anyone else tried this? wonder what the difference would be with LTs instead of shortys

I've done it a bunch of times. I hate it. Sounds like crap at part throttle and nothing more than just ok at full throttle. Need a built motor to make that sort of flow sound good. It is fun to scare people though.

 

[Zero Signal]

I did it too with the stock cam the sound wasn't so great. Kind sounded like my friends jalopy pickup with straight headers. But with the cam in my last combo sounded freaking awsome at idle and revving. It's all about the 110 deg. LSA when it comes to a cool sound.
