That's quick for sure man. I'm not on here to talk **** about all the stangs, there's ALWAYS someone faster out there, and I never forget that....

they wound up with 470RWHP on pump gas, street motor, with 324CI...H/C W/ FR500 intake manifold.
very nice car though...just cant let you forget the mod motors can hold their own with the LS1s .

Ok I admit an ls1 car is faster than mine, but who cares. Everyone that has one is about 10k in the hole more than me. Give any mustang owner the amount of money it takes to buy an ls1 car and they'll kill it. 03, 04 cobra is about at the same price level as an ls1, and their faster. I dont think its too cocky when my winning % is 66% against ls1's. I'll take my chances. When we're sitting beside each other yours may be faster, but mine's gonna look better lol

on the street or the track, its one car against another. it dont matter what that car runs stock and it dont matter what that car has done to beat you. the fact of the matter is one car is faster! so what if someone spent alot of money making a slower car faster then you. then guess what?....his car is faster then you, thats the bottom line.

its just excuses when people say "oh well it took the bottle to beat me, if i had the bottle too..." well go buy the bottle then. until then, my car kicks you cars ass! lol

anyway i like your ta.

and i cant wait to be waxing all kinds of cars with my little 2 valve this summer...4 valve is not the only stang engine to fear.

Check my sig, I have it too This was all about my buddy and his choice for his plate. I didn't come in here bashing stangs in any way, or saying that LSx cars are the fastest and nothing can match them.

Corey, about the being in the hole 10k? Dude are you serious? You can pick up a LS1 car for near the same or even less than what you paid for your car no problem. I have the last year made, and the only one that was higher priced than mine is a Firehawk, so of course it's gonna cost more than yours, and it will re-sale for more than yours as well.

This will nip it in the bud here....The 01 SS you lost to, that is STOCK, and is NEWER than your car, was purchased within 1500-2k of what you paid for yours

Point is who cares what it cost, you buy what you want, and the price doesn't mean it has to be faster. I could have bought something older, like a 98 WS6, installed the same crap on it and been relatively close to where I am now. I wanted the "last of the breed", and low miles.

But there's no sense in arguing it anymore, it's not gonna help or hurt me either way. See ya at work tomorrow bro

For what it's worth, I think your car is awesome.

like he said, its not the cost of the car that makes it fast. its what you have done to it. we all like to mod our cars, its just about how much you want to put into modding it that will make it fast.

after my summer mods, i will have spent a boatload. the car will be fast. i also could have used the same amount of cash and bought the new z06 and been just as fast. its about modding, its about making a fast GT. my car will be fast for a gt not for the bi-turbo mercedies or a viper or a z06.

sure it will keep up with them, that is the joy of modding. but for the guy driving the zo6 who pulls up next to the viper, it is expected that both will be fast. theres no real achievement there. when they pull up next to me and i beat them or keep up.....they will say damn that GT is fast......achievement!

Adrenln, I agree with you! And I can attest that your car is awesome, I just wish I could have seen it in action, instead of at a red light!
