So I was wondering what is everyone's opinion on putting the 03-04 cobras bumpers, skirts, wing and hood on a GT. I am skeptical on it because although I love the look of it a lot more than the stock GT, i don't like to seem like i'm posing as a wannabe with the cobra (although I do want one, LOL). So what do you guys/girls think, should I do it, or just stick with the stock GT design w/maybe a mach chin spoiler?

Ultimately I would love to have my Black GT with the 03-04 cobra kit, the front tinted headlights and blacked out taillights and some 18" Gloss Black w/chrome lip FR500's, what do you guys/girls think?

Also, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the SLP Loudmouths, Loudmouth's II, and Power-Flo's.

I think it is a good idea to put Cobra body parts on a GT. If I were to do it I would do the hood first. Just do not start putting Cobra badges on your GT...

Cobra body on a GT is sleek and sexy. A lot of guys here do it, but in bits and pieces. Just make sure you don't impose! That means no badges and fill in the word COBRA on the rear bumper. Next year I plan on doing the rear bumper and then the front:

I love 01Laser*'s (don't know his FULL name) look with the 03 front valence and GT hood, but I love the 03 hood and it's a great heat extractor for my blower.

I agree .. it's a good look.
Without the badges, it's a no brainer.

yea definitely no badges. The only part I was wanting to eliminate was the cobra letters on the rear bumper. can that be filled in by a body shop?

Cobra kit would look sick, just never, ever claim its a cobra.

slp loudmouth I's are hollow resonators. They sound great with the stock H-pipe. They sound "ok" with a catted X/H. They sound like **** with an O/R X/H.

the Loudmouth II's look the same but have a perforated core. They sound good with the stock H, better with a catted X/H, and awesome with an O/R X/H. They are still plenty loud too!

Powerflo's are a different design. They arent too loud with the stock H, sound pretty good with a catted X/H, and sound best with an O/R X/H. Not near as loud as the I's or II's though.

go to rpmoutlet.com and find the SLP cat-backs, they should have pics of the 3 where you can see the internal construction.

I love the Cobra appearance but is no fan of phonies. So no SVT or snake badges for me. I could care less how others think of my car though. It's my money, and my car.

there is a guy on here, myponyrocks, who filled the letters on a cobra bumper. HE made a pretty good write up for it and had an awsome end product. You can find it here --> http://www.mikuhl.net/corral/

thanks everyone for your opinions and suggestions. now i have to decide whether to do it or not, because the mach chin spoiler would be my cheap way out so I could use money on motor mods.

Second that I have the front bumper and side skirts and if the spoiler wasnt so damn exspensive to buy and install I would have that to. Like he said it is your car do what u want f everyone else. At the track some guys have talked trash about it, but they will shut up when u beat them. By the way the 03 cobra front bumper should be any gts first mod. Just my opinion though

Thanks for the plug there.. but it's me and not myponyrocks who did the rear bumper.

Definetly, the look of a smoothed Cobra bumper is killer. The last show that I was at, I got way more compliments and comments about the bumper than any other thing I've done to the car.
