Opinion on Exhaust

Ok I got an offroad bassani xpipe sitting in my garage waiting to go on, I was going to just get some mufflers and have the xpipe welded in as well as the mufflers. Would I see much difference in power or sound if I went with a catback kit instead of just mufflers? Also I was thinking of going with bassani mufflers because of the bassani xpipe, any thoughts on that? A local performance shop quoted me 100 bucks to have the pipe and mufflers welded in.

not a bad price at all. you're not going to see much performance gains from the mufflers or a catback, so choose what you want. The midpipe is going to deliver the most power, so choose whatever catback/mufflers you think sounds the best. I would go w/ Bassani mufflers in your case.

Borla's straigh through mufflers sound good also, but as with Bassani stuff the Borla is expensive.

definetly. i had borla on my 97 and is sounded sooo awesome. just cost me a raping with a sandpaper condom for it.
