I remember reading a back issue of Car Craft where they used rear axles from a Ranger or Aerostar (same rearends) to convert to 5 lug. They had to use two of the same side axles for some reason (I think two lefts).

you would only be using the drivers side so you need to source another ranger rear end for the second.

Mullet + Iroc Camero = Match Made in heaven, and when they get together it ussually results in a trailor hitch on the Iroc

I just checked the Car Craft article and only '83-'95 Ranger, Bronco II and Aerostar left side axles work.
Its the November 2005 issue. It says that the axles from an 8.8 or 7.5 rear end work.

You can get axles from a Ranger or an Aerostar.
Aerostar axles are implanted in my Stang.

For those wheels, yes, you need the sn95 up front. However the ranger/aerostar stuff will work on the back until you decide to go 4 wheel disc.

See sig for the ultra buget 5 lug conversion look. SVO fronts - ranger/aerostar rears w/drums.

**HEY...iwashmycar** I like your wheels!!!-------copy cat..
