I am a former Mustang Cobra Owner (98' and 03'), but have had a C5 Z06 last few years so I have not been frequenting the Mustang Forums until lately. I desided to sell the Z06 and it is going to be replaced by a 2010 GT500. I have pretty much decided on the Grabber Blue, but I would like opinions about the wheel choice. The style of wheels is not final, right now I am trying to decide on painted, or polished/chrome. If you have sugestions other than listed please discuss.

Choice # 1 Black Wheels

Choice # 2 Polished lips, brushed centers (I messed up on the size, they would be smaller than the picture)

Choice # 3 Just leave it alone, stock is good enough.

I voted stock.

For once in automotive history; the past couple of years car manufacters have been getting it right with rims... Just my opinion though.

Definitely stock. The paint stands out just right, you don't want any extra attention to the wheels. Glossy black might look nice though!

I love the stock rims on the Shelby. I just wish they weren't so damn expensive to buy from Ford or I would have a set.

Id also stay stock. I do like the alcoa wheels from Shelby too though. If it was an 05-09 Id change the wheels, not a huge fan of that style.

I would leave it stock. I love those rims.

Another fan of the Stock Shelby wheels.

The 2010 Shelby is damn near perfect IMO

If you're unsure....try seeing what they would look like on the car with a lower stance. All the other ones pictured make it look like the car has at least a 1" drop over stock.

Lol the photoshopped rims are like 22"s haha!

Obviously you are considering aftermarket rims. I personally love the stock rims, but you have a lot of choices that could look just as good or better!

I'd go with these if I were you... Paint the inserts to match the car!

ASA AR9 With Spoke Inserts Machined w/Anthracite Accent

You can get them with 9.5"s in the rear for wider rubber! It'd look awesome.

I had to vote stock, but I really like what Preston did with the color coded inserts!
