I did a search and can't find much discussion on KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts at all. The wife's car is needing new stuff and I've got a $250 credit with 50Resto that I can use. They seem to give me a choice between Koni (very expensive), KYB GR2 (cheapo) and the AGX.

Does anybody have any first hand experience with them that you can share?

I've asked the question myself a while back and didn't get to much info on them some said they were ok. My friend put some on his nova and said one of the struts collapsed or some crap like that he sent it back and they sent him a replacement no charge. As far as I know he hasn't had any problems since but he said they're nothin special so I guess ya get what ya pay for. I ended up getting a set of lakewood shocks and struts for my b-day which are great imo. Think it totalled up to about 300 bucks. We tried ordering the lakewoods from 5.0 resto but they said they were out and were trying to get some in a few weeks ago. Hope that helps ya some.

I'm running them in my fox and i love them. You can adjust the stiffness, you can set it from nice and smooth to a rougher ride. I know you said you had credit at 50resto, but i have a set of KYB AGX adjustables(2 shocks, 2 struts) that is roughly about 3 months old. Put them on this last winter so they sat for 3 months. Put maybe 500 miles on them this spring(at the most, i doubt it was that many) and now i'm going to bistien coil-over setup so i can no longer use them. They won't work with a coil-over setup. But they are litterally like brand new, got the orig. boxes and all papers and instructions and everything. If your interested shoot me a price. There not beat up or sratched up at all, i keep my stuff really nice. I can also get you a pic. -Ian
