So I'm about to paint my car midnight blue but before I do I'm completing all the body work and filling in various holes left by the rocker trim. I'm undecided though if I want to keep the rear quarter trim or remove it. Here's a couple pics. What do you guys think? Keep the trim or get rid of it. It's hard to picture the color but it will be a really dark midnight blue.

I like both but really can't decide.

My vote goes for keeping it. I love the quarter panel ornaments/trim on all 65 66 67 68. I think its cool. There is no way I would delete it. I actually just put new ones on my 65 about 6 months ago.

Since we are talking about trim, I also like the rocker molding.

I have had two without and two with......I prefer with for looks, without for waxing and polishing. However, if the holes are there, I would keep them. The round holes are such a pain to get perfectly filled with weld that I have seen so many with minor cracks in the paint, it is real annoying.
