Just wanted to know if anyone has any comments, good OR bad about this system:

2005-10 Mustang Gt-Plus Baer 14" Front Brake Upgrade Kit by Shelby Performance Parts at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

I know the Brembo's have to be better, but I like the Baer's for a few reasons.

1. The rotors are much nicer
2. I know for sure that I wont have to worry about rims with these.
3. I love the Silver finish, which would look good with the Ingot Silver CS package and black rims (or the stock rims even).

Thanks

One thing I forgot to include is that although Im sure the Brembos are better, I was told by one of the aftermarket companies that these Baers, even though they are 2-pistons( like stock) they are larger pistons and provide better stopping power than the stockers, especially with the included pads, and better rotors. Sound accurate?

Here's is the direct image (they are nice looking)

Baer also makes just a rotor upgrade kit that will net you probably pretty close to the same stopping power and has the same rotors in it, and they also have them for the rear so you can have 14" rotors all the way around. Baer EradiSpeed Plus-2, you can get both the front and rear kits for about $1150-$1200 if you search a little.

And I would check a little, make sure the piston size is actually bigger on the Baer calipers.

And the standard 2011 GT brakes are only a few feet behind the brembos in stopping distance. Mostly what you get with the brembos is less fade after hard use and those Baer rotors would prbably even that out.

Not really sure what "less fade" is. I did want the Baer's partially for cosmetics in addition to the extra stopping abililty, which is why i put that specific kit link up.
Thanks

Not really sure what "less fade" is.

You should not be pushing a car on the street hard enough to experience it. That comes into play when you're on a track. In a 20 minute DE session on a track you will experience brake fade with inferior brakes. It's just like it sounds - you put your foot into it, and the braking just isn't there. It just faded away on you. It's not fun.
