Im ready to buy a mustang only have 3-5k to spend. I would prefer a car with a lot of the maintenance already done and some decent power. I emailed the owner and he said it went 12.8 @ 110mph on slicks. Does this seem like a good buy if i can get him down closer to 4k. Does that ET seem alright for this setup? Ive never owned a 5.0 so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks heres the site:

i'd be more worried about rust and whatnot than the 1/4 time. you live in southern IL so you should hop over sometime and check the car out in person. from what i've seen, the fox bodies up here in the north, in good condition, can be worth a little money so $4-4.5k might be a reasonable price for the car. negotiate of course, though.

Im not that worried about the 1/4 time, Im wondering if with those mods that time with slicks seems alright. It has never been tuned or dynoed. Could 18 passes at the track hurt the motor with no tune? Im new to 5.0, but I know u need a tune after cam install on 2V.
