I am finally financialy ready to start buying my parts.(thanks uncle sam) All winter I had decided to get chrome staggered 17" fr500's. Now that I am ready to buy, I am not sure again. Here is what I am considering, All 17's, chrome or anthracite in both, either fr 500's or the 03 cobra's. My car is zinc yellow and I am not sure what the chrome will look like on a bright car. I personaly don't like the black so that is out of the running. Car currently has 18" anthracite bullets. they have some corrosion on the lips and I want the staggered look, plus all 4 tires are shot. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions?

There's a guy that works in the shopping plaza that I work in. He has a ZY SN95 similar to yours. He did chrome wheels on his, and I personally think it looks solid. Anthracite is not a bad choice, but the chrome just makes the car stick out even more. It adds to how bright the car really is. Try photo shopping both on to your ride. Take a side profile picture of your vehicle, and find pictures of the wheels you want. This may give you a better idea.

Anthracite and yellow look sex! If it was me thats the way to go..

As far as sumitomos go....well they are turds compared to nitto and they wont fit your rims correctly...both times i had sumis they wore out really damn fast with no hard driving and i could fit my pinky in between the lip of the rim and the sidewall of the tire..

Nitto is the much better choice to go with even though they are almost double the price

Never had sumitomos but I've had great luck with nitto. That's the tires I'm putting on my new setup next week. Im partial to a black wheel but I know it's not for everyone so I would go with anthracite. Hyper coated may be an option as well if they offer it for the wheel u want

Well if athracite is sex then that's what she is getting! Low and mean. Hope to start working on it in a week or so. Been kicking around removing the hood stripes. I know they show the spring feature package, but I think they pull from the car plus one needs replaced. So far here is my exterior mod list, 2" drop with staggered fr500's in athracite. Short 8" ant, tinting windows, plus I have my 1/4 window louvers from my old 04. It already has the cobra bumper cover. Looking for clean and simple look.

I vote for the chrome for the rim color, I like both styles so it would look bad ass but either way it will be heavier...

I nearly went with stealth black fr500s. I still think they would have looked cool, but I was surprised at how good anthracite looked on yellow. Go to google images and look up anthracite fr500s. There is a yellow cobra slammed on there, that's what sold me.

Im not going to bother looking but I think I have an idea of what car you're referring to (I've had these pics saved for a while and are my main inspiration for anthracite DD FR's)........
