oppinions needed. turbo!!

hey all im usually on corral for my 96 cobra but recently got a 93 cobra. ive already caught the bug. i have big plans for this bad boy. im very new to these 5.0 engines so i need oppinions. heres what im thinkin.

331 by ?

z304 heads. heard theyre some nice heads

hp stage 1 turbo 60mm

custom comp cam

i need all the info i can get on these parts and your oppinions on other things i should upgrade. this car is mainly for the street and accasional track. let me know what you guys think. chris

Try a DSS 331 with a 60mm turbo you should be able to get away with a level 20 pro bullit, don't know much about the z304 heads l'd recommend AFR 185's if your looking for emmissions legal, The HP kits are the best that could find and the 60mm with a small cam is an absolute torque monster, talk to HP and get thier recomendation on a cam, should be wild good luck.

thanks for the reply bro, does dss put a warranty on their shortblocks. do you know if the hp kit comes with a tubular k member. if not will i need one.

Check them out, see what you think. Not sure about warranty, good luck getting it if they do. The HP kit does not change the crossmember to my knowledge. Oh by the way I ment the Super Pro Bullet level 20 short block, they claim 700hp without cracking.
I'll be getting the XR331, claim over 1000hp with dart block, to go with the HP stage III 76mm turbo kit. Over the next 3 years of course, who can afford it all at once?
