Any other option on the 91 model 5.0 for a coolant resevoir overflow tank thats fairly cheap? Mines trashed. I'd like to keep the low coolant sensor in operation. I just hate to shell out the $$$ for a repro unit. If you have pics of anything you've come up with i'd like to see one, preferrably a nice clean mounted tank, no hack jobs please!

people have run 6 dollar units from parts stores (generic) in the fener well (out of sight). one can also get a nice can from a speed shop. both omit the low level sensor though.

dont have a good suggestion for ya. good luck.

i got a bitchen setup from a local speed shop. its a billet alluminum cylinder that is about 14 inches long and i fabbed up (really easily) a couple mounts to mount it next to my fluidyne radiator .... it looks tits. it doesnt have a huge capacity or anything but serves it purpose. i am running a mark viii fan with dc controller though... if you are running a stock fan / shroud setup your options are gonna be kinda limited. if thats the case stick with an oem replacment from 50 resto or a similar outfit.

Canton makes an aluminum overflow resevoir with the return lines and it accepts the stock coolant sensor. Pricey though, like $140.
