Nothing else is necessary, except for the silicone as tangerine noted. The only other thing you need (and hopefully already have) is a good socket set and maybe a foot long piece of 2X4 (seriously) to help break the seal of your old shifter from the transmission - but yours being an 04, it shouldn't be too tough at all.
I just installed my new shifter today. In order to get the stock shifter off, all I did was re-install the stock handle, and gave the whole thing a yank to the side. the shifter popped right off. I love the new shifter, huge improvment over the stock shifter.
