Well, last week i wrecked my 86 hatch, did quite a bit of frame damage to the point where it wasn't worth fixing, so i am parting my car out.

I have a fresh 302 that i was going to swap into it.

But today i stumbled across a 86 notch v6 and they want a grand for it.
It is a 90+ year old ladies car, she is the original owner, and has had it in the garage since day one.
How hard would it be to do a V8 swap with all of the drivetrain into a 86 notch? Will it all bolt right in?

Oh man, I'd be all over that like stains on a mattress. That is a fantastic find. There are a few things you'll have to address to get the V8 in there (google it, lots of info out there), but it will be well worth it considering the price and conditio0n of that beauty.

What about rear end? Do they have the 7.5 rear end?
And what else would I have to change besides the k member to convert to v8?

I actually found a 89 notch white with black interior with low miles that I may swoop up on.
