Well, there were 3 different 289's in 67:"C", "A", and "K" code. All had a 4.0 x 2.87 stroke. Compression was 9.3:1 for the C, 9.8:1 for the A, and 10.5:1 for the K.The C used a 2 barrel with regular fuel while the other two used premium fuel with a 4 barrel carb. The C and A codes used a hydraulic cam while the K code used a mechanical one. The h.p. ratings were, (overrated of course), C=200@4400, A= 225 @ 4800, K= 271@ 6000. Torque was A 282@2400, C =305 @ 3200, and K = 312 @ 3400. Lift on the cams were .368, .426, .477 respectively. Valve sizes were 1.773-1.783 intake and 1.442-1.457 for exhaust. If you want lift numbers at different heights, I will have to charge you or you could just buy the Ford manual like I did that has all this and more in it.
