im looking for a subwoofer box that will sound great for my 2003 gt conv.im looking to buy 2ea orion 10in h2 subs but i know if the box is crap it won`t matter how good the subs are. i found a site called topedgeonline.com and they have subwoofer boxes designed for convertable mustangs if that site is garbage please refer me too a better site that deal with subwoofer boxes

I would stay away from a box that fires up. I ran into this problem when I was setting up my 94 convert. I got 20 ft of speaker wire and ran it from my dailydriver that had a 300 watt amp in it. I then took a std. square 10" box and infinity sub and moved it around in the trunk of the stang. The result was bad. Firing up was the worst with massive rattling and distortion. Firing towards the tail was decent with less rattles and better thump. In either case, the sound was muffled and caused rattles everywhere. I ended up pulling the back seat, installing a seat delete and put a dual 10" box on top and used 2 trim panels to blend it in. Sounds rediculously loud and has no rattles.

dude, what amp are you going to be running, those h2's take a LOT of watts to get them moving. 2000 watts rms, 1200 watts to each is what most people say is the least you should put in them. i would get some different subs, or try a one sub setup. maybe one 15" h2 in a custome ported encloser. 2000 watts rms That would pound nut sacks. BUILD YOUR OWN BOX, most places will rip you off.
