I work for Customs and immigration. You should see what happens when I stop for gas.. The lines are long because of the hurricane. I stopped on the way home. got out of my car to wait for a pump. It turned into a ghost town. Went from aprox. 20 cars to 2. The other guy looked at me and said it must be the Uniform. It was too funny. the people in the gas station as well took off. Normaly in Hialiah if I stop for gas 2-3 people leave. to see a mass exodus like that made me laugh all the way home.
Looks like its going to be a bit west of Volusia... but we are going to get the northeast side of it.
AGAIN.
Frances blew off part of my damn bumper and my frickin passenger rocker panel, and blew a bench into the drivers side quarter panel. Maybe Jeanne will take the entire bumper off. Maybe I can get a whole paint job out of the deal.
Leaving work (Home Depot) the stoplights on Dunlawton and Clyde Morris were at a 35 to 40 degree angle.
This is gonna be fun.

Like a Dumbazz, I took down my plywood last weekend, only to put it up again yesterday afternoon. Looks like Jeanne will be similar to Frances for us here in Brevard Co.

My Neighbor "PAID" someone $300 to put up his panels for Francis. The Removal was part of the payment deal. He left them up until This past Wed, when the guy came back to take them down..
He had to put them up TODAY, with the help of his wife, other neighbor, and to a lesser extent, me, when I finished doing my work.
I removed panels from 6 of the 20 openings on my house... 3 Last weekend (off the front, for looks) and 3 on Wed from the side...ONly to put them back up again today. Since I left the nuts in the sliding tracks, It only took me 90 minutes to do the 3 windows, as opposed to about 8 hours for all of them the first time around.
Looks like JUPITER (BlueOval) is the WINNER (or Loser!)

I had electric the entire time. The winds were insane but other then some shrubs, no damage. I feel for the people who got hit once again. This storm packed more of a punch then the last.
