Well.....I was out shopping for an Integra....
Then there was this all blacked out 94 GT which sounded soo good, and was inexpensive. It was mostly stock, but was soo fast being my second car (1st was a 4-cly. Chebby)

I didn't know jack about them, and then I found you all. And...it's been addicting ever since.

.....and talk about the torque.

hell yeah, i'm feeling what everyone is saying. about the alcohol and drugs, that's a very good point. i guess i haven't thought about it that way since i drink but never will i do drugs and NEVER mixed beer with speed. and everyone is agreeing, the mustang is the nicest MUSCLE CAR out there.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Why the racing? I can have fun with friends and put the pedal to the floor without tickets.

it's a perfect adrenaline rush when you have it wide open running the car next to you.

Then after you finish racing your legs are shaking and you cant sit still, and ur heart is beating fast. Its like your high but without the drugs.

Before i got my sang my whole family have been GM enthusiasts, as was i, but once i got my stang everything changed for me. I dont take it as far as us vs them tho, technically we should be all on the same side.

Unfortunately, for my generation, (I'm 20), the mustang is one of the last muscle cars. Not sports cars, thats something different. As of this year all we have left are Stangs, Lightnings, GTOs (look ugly as sin but still count), Vipers (kinda out of the price range but still counts), Corvettes, and RAM srt-10s. Can anyone think of another muscle car? And by muscle car I mean gobs of torque, almost as much horse power, decent handling, and who the hell cares about gas mileage. Thats why I drive a Mustang.

I might be mistaken, but isn't a musclecar defined as a 4 seater rear wheel drive with decent horsepower and torque, correct?

Viper...2 seater <---sportscar
Corvette...see Viper
Lightning...Truck
Street Racing Technologies 10 Dodge Ram...Truck

This leaves the GTO and the Stang for actual musclecars, and the GTO, as far as I'm concerned, is old news brought back to life. Cudo's to GM for bringing the Mustang some competition, but yeah, only 2, if you look at it the same way I do.

I own a mustang because I love the rumble, and the tent I get when I throw the rev's up above 5000.

bc my dad MADE me get into them when i was 7, which if you do the math, the first year of the SN95. He put posters in my room telling me the history of them. Then on the second day of release, he takes my moms probe for a "drive" and brings her back a brand new 1994 Opal Frost V6. We were the talk of the town. I instantly fell in love. I bought it from my dad (mom gave it to him for a new car) when i first got my license. My dad took the money and bought a canary yellow 94 GT. I traded him the V6 and 6600 for the GT (yeah, he loved his car that much to rip off his own son). I wrecked the car and took my insurance check and my whole savings from working 2 jobs and bought my 1995 Black Mustang GT. Had a cobra in my hands, but insurance raped that from my fingers. 4k a year just to drive it.....sure, im up for it!!! My dad bought an 03 Cobra in place of his Canary. He actually got an email yesterday saying he is number 4 on the waiting list for the 05 mustang for Purvis Ford. I will never own another car other than a mustang. I told my parents that i needed to spend my money on car parts bc all the hookers i purchased gave me too many STDs. long story short, my mom got mad and my dad laughed for an hour. I love them mustangs
