Okay after spending a few hour working on my door, I got frustrated and stoped. Recently the button on the outside of the passenger door no longer works. I took of part of the door panel, but it was hard to get my hand up inside it. I found out what was wrong, the rod that hooks up into the the hole the outside button lifts came out. I tried to just put it back in but it fell out. I assume there was some kind of end on it originally which i cannot locate in the door paneling anywhere. So i tried to use wire, and zip ties, but i was at a loss since it was hard to do any work with my hand in there. I decided to just give up for the moment.

So what do i need to fix this? Cause its damn hard to get 2 hand in there to work.

Each rod must have a retaining clip. (It may have fallen to the bottom of the door.) Often the handle may have to be partially removed to gain access to the correct location for the rod. You may have to get the clip from the vendor. Replace them ALL while you are in there.

Patience will be needed. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: (Use powdered graphite on the sticking button)
