over heating

hi, new here i was wondering enybody knows,i took my car out today and it started going to 210/220 my motor is stock it's got a v-1 vortech 10 pnd of boost 30 pnd injecters,it was steady at 190 could it be the rad cap its old, got a black magic fan,eny help ..........thank you

Were the ambient temps hotter than normal?
Was it running cooler at idle or while at freeway speeds?
Stock gauge or aftermarket?

thank you for the reply i found out my radiator was clogged up with dirt blew it up and its back to normal thanks again........

good to hear. but my two cents that black majic fan is crap. I went through a proform fan and a black majic and now onto a dual contour fan. Get a better fan and you'll lower your temps even more.
