Hello,
I recently got a couple leaks in my radiator and I stupidly put in radiator leak stop which held for about 3 days, so I ended up replacing the radiator, now my car heats up all the way to max when it gets onto the roads that you do above 50+kms on. I have brought it to a shop and they have looked at it, they tested to see if the "head gasket was scooped" and it wasnt, I replaced the thermostat because they told me maybe it was faulty and not letting any flow, and it is still doing it. I will drive it on the highway and it will go all the way up on the temp gauge, then go down a little, then go back up, it sits and bounces around the top of the gauge. Could it be a faulty gauge? thats the only thing I havent checked yet but if anyone has any ideas that'd be great.
Dave
