overheating problems!

I have a summit radiator and a new waterpump but Im still having overheating problems. It runs kinda hot when the car is at idle. Any suggestions?

When does your fan come on? What t-stat are you running? Can you define kinda hot... like where the needle is pointing to on the gauge.

the fan doesnt come on at ALL! the Tstate is 180(I think) it goes to the L in normal.

Think that could be your problem? Find out whats wrong with the fan, fix it, then see if the temperature is still high.

You just answered you own question. The radiator and water pump is not the issue. Test that fan out and make sure it comes on HIGH. The fan has a low and high side. The middle wire is a ground. Pull the connector and look inside the fan motor. If you see electrical damage then ditch the fan and replace.

If the connector looks fine start your car and turn on the a/c to high. The high speed fan always runs when the a/c is on.
