Ok...new the forums so thank you for any help in advance...

K... here is what i have....

View attachment 379272

Vortech S-trim supercharger 10lbs of boost.
30lb injectors.. modified gt-40 heads.

Just put new head gaskets Fel-pro 1133's mls.

Runs fine, needs a new tune, running on a diablo chip....timing is a bit off..but still runs.

Problem is =

Even if the motor is cold......if i get into any boost at all or even under a load....or even without getting into the boost. It will blow water through the radiator cap and fill the overflow making a big mess etc....etc... and then it starts to overheat. Checked the oil...no water...havnt even gotten into it hard at all and it does it. Also.........took the thermostat out thinking it froze up. Same issue..........still blows through the cap etc... using a 16lb cap...and yes...new...bought two just in case....also....yes i even put a 20lb cap on there to see,,,, and still.....blows water through the cap overheats..etc...

Any ideas????? I bought this car a while back as is and went through all the top end after blowing the first set of gaskets which were stock replacement gaskets "shakes head"......

Also.......im pretty sure the waterpump pulley is aftermarket underdrive... stock belt rubbed on its self around the tensioner and the pulley on the waterpump...bought a shorter belt..worked out well.........is it possible that with the underdrive pulley its pushing too much water? Does it need a bigger radiator? does any of this make sense??

Please help, im at a loss.........

it sounds like a gasket is on backwards either the headgasket or a intake gasket IF this started to happen after the gasket installs.Or your cooling system has alot of air still in it.

heh no that doesn't make sense, underdrive pulleys will cause less water flow...

You didn't say when it overheats but it's not really needed anyways. If it's pressurizing the system even when cold it's fairly obvious you have a compression leak into the coolant system. Did you check the head and block deck surfaces to see if they are warped? If it's been overheated alot in the past they're probably cattywompus. Failing that you could have a cracked cylinder or a cracked head (did you have the heads checked when they were off?). Oh and if you're going to run any kind of cylinder pressure use cometics, not toysrus felpro's.... you're a big kid now
