oxygen sensor

i have a 1998 cobra and i have abank 1 oxygen sensor bad. where is bank 1?
will a oxygen sensor from a 1997 gt work are they the same oxygen sensor.

If I recall it is the drivers side or the side of the number 1 cylinder. Which sensor is it? Bank 1 sensor 1 or sensor 2?

the ford dealer told me that bank 1 was on the passenger side is that true?also will a oxygen sensor from a 4.6 gt work?

My bad it is on the passenger side. I am thinking about my LS1 which Bank 1 is drivers side.

I know the bosch part numbers for a GT is the same as a cobra.
