I Finally have a new mod installed that is worth posting about
I installed a P-51 Intake and Upgraded Fuel Rails. The install was........ fun . Well, not really, but it was worth it. Only ran into a couple of Minor snags, other than that, it was a pretty straightforward install.

Hmmmm, as you might be able to tell from the last pic, my CAI kinda prevents my hood from closing . Had to climb into the Attic and dig up my stock air box. Installed the stock stuff and the Hood closed fine , well maybe not quite. The Hood makes some slight contact with the intake. Looks like I will have to do some research on new Hoods

Have you romped on it yet to see if there is any difference? Definatly looks like a solid intake. Nice pics.


Edit: Also, does your car use a little bit of oil? Looks like the intake ports are coated with it. I beleive mine has some blow by and is sucking it back through the plenum and intake manifold.

What kind of question is that? Of course I have romped on it. Down Low it is nothing really different. But feels much stronger in the Mid and High RPMs.

Not a huge improvement in Peak HP/TQ, but picks up some power in the Mid/High

Nothing noticeable. But it has to be from Blow By. I have breathers on my Valve covers now, so Oil in the Intake wont be a problem. I was thinking of trying some SeaFoam to clean up some of the oil. I also noticed that my Valves looked a little gunked up.

Cool deal. I figured you ran it to see but you didnt say, lol. Thats not bad though, looks like fairly solid gains and would only get better with other mods.

I just Seafoamed the other day, got some nice clouds of smoke... im sure it cleaned something out.

Four simple steps to a clean engine bay:
-soak engine down with 303 Aerospace Protectant
-drive it for a few days (in the rain is ideal)
-go to a spray and wash and clean the engine
-spray again with 303 Aerospace Protectant and wipe off excess with a rag

Trust me, with very minimal effort your engine bay will look like new. If it is really bad you might also need to use some degreaser. Make sure the degreaser is not drawn into the a/c air intake vent in the cowl or you will smell it FOREVER.

The engine bay doesn't look as busy as a 96-98 (since he have the damn coil packs and wires everywhere) but there just seems to be something missing since it's so open You'll definitly need to clean the engine now

Welcome to the P-51 club! What I like about it is you have gains throughout most of the RPM range, not just on the low or high end. I like mine a lot!

I tried to spray my engine with water...but it just screwed it up until it dried.

I spray mine all the time... But I have gone to extreme lengths to make sure that my COP boots form a water tight seal on the plug wells.
