Well, they not gonna fix it so fortunately d98gt is selling me his intake manifold and having a cool local guy do the swap tomorrow for a stock 01+ intake with the aluminum crossover. Id take the chance to upgrade some stuff while its down, but its my daily so i have to go with the quickest solution.
Ford said they would cover only if it cracked at the t-stat housing, those cheap plastic intake mother****ers

Wow, thats ****ty man. Its their POS intake it shouldnt matter where it cracks.

Glad you have a plan though. Just looking at it the swap isnt bad, ive had most of the stuff off of the top part of the engine and all the bolts arent in a PITA place or anything.

Go with a stock PI intake. They have the aluminum crossover. No need to spend 500+ on an aluminum one.

OK, I have the stock manifold WITH the aluminum crossover and mine is leaking coolant at the junction of the crossover and the manifold directly under the thermostat housing . . . Is this covered in the 7 year warranty? If so, has anyone else experienced this?
