im going to get an x pipe but i need to get inspected soon, so will a catted x pipe get me to pass it or will there still be smog?....also what other parts will cause me to fail inspection in pa??
It looks like it is similar to us in Ohio. They look if you have catalytic converters, hook up a device that checks for any emissions related computer codes, and then perform the gas-cap test.
Generally, if your vehicle has an OBD-II system (~1996+) then there is no "sniffer" test. Only a computer check.
In Ohio, they only check if you have cats. They don't check if they are the original cats, etc..
