Hi everyone, my mustang is undergoing restoration. Was wondering how I should go about removing the paint and primer that is on the body? Also what should be done to get rid of rust pits on the front fenders? (I used a D/A Sander to clean them and found lots of little rust pits).

ive always been fond of the orbital sanders, and as for "rust pits" i've always done 1 of these 3 things, if the pits are super bad and pockmark a good chunk of the sheetmetal, i cut it out; 2 use brass as a filler; or 3 go the cheapy way and use bondo backed by like 3m body tape

The rust pits are not really deep, just deep enough that you cant get the rust out with sand paper. Should I try some acid on it? As far as the rest of the car... should I buy some paint stripper or just have it all soda blasted?
