Paint Chips From a Hard Winter!

Unfourtunatly my Stang has been my only means of transportation and had to go out a few times this winter.

When I washed it last week, I found bubbled paint on a quarter fenderwell lip and tons of chips on the quarters and lower front fenders. I want to have my buddy touch up these areas and was thinking of using those clear plastic sheets you see on newer vehicles around fenderwells. Anyone use these, is it a good idea?

if they are put on right i think its a good idea i work at a dealership and sometimes they come in with bubbles
