Paint color history question

Hey, I have a '92 red LX 5.0 hatch and I just hit a deer today. My hood is shot and I went to the junk yard today to look for a new one. They had one in another yard that he said was red but it is from a '90 car. Is there any chance that will be a different color red than mine? Were there any other reds? If there is only one red, is it the same color both years? Thanks for any input.

I think there were 2 reds around that time. There was the regular bright red color and a deeper metallic red called strawberry red.

There was no color that year called strawberry. There is sticker that should be on the inside of drivers door. It has your paint code under the abbreviation INT. If you are looking for the other codes here they are.
