Its better they didn't and you waited. I waited a few weeks with mine. Even baking it the paint isnt fully cured for a while . Looks great[/QUOTE]

For the general public knowledge I'll say this,

For those that want to wait for the paint to cure a while longer, you're right, the paint will cure further and that is optimal however really unnecessary. For your average B/C paint job you wouldn't know the difference by looking at your paint if you baked the car and cut & buffed shortly thereafter or if you waited several months to a year before doing so. Only way I'd wait is if it was a high dollar collector car/show car with a $15-20k paint job involving many layers of primer and base, textures and lots of clear coat. Now as far as polishing/waxing goes, you should wait at least a couple months.

Yeah waxing a fairly new paint job doesn't work very well. Ask me how I know. Lol.
