Paint detail questions for the 70 SCJ in my shop

We are getting close to going in the paint booth with the '70. I have questions regarding how the back side of the front and rear valance panels were originally painted. Were they painted with complete body color coverage, or weak overspray with primer color obvious? Would the primer have been red oxide or black?
Are the outsides of the shock towers black from the cowl forward?
What color of primer would be on the insides of the fenders, and again, are the insides primer only, or primer with body color overspray?

Any and all guidance or references is much appreciated! If there is a trusted publication that addresses these fine details, I'm up for buying it.

Back of rear valance is body color over spray ,over brown primer ,if it is a san jose car . Outer aprons and inner engine compartment are black over brown primer with brown primer showing through in tje lower areas ,and inside the spring towers . The outer rear aprons will have body color over the brown primer with black covering most of that . The pinch weld acros the bottom of the car will be black over body color and a black heavy overspray on the front torque boxes . The under side floor will be a mix of brown primer with over spray of body color and black over spray from the pinck weld as far as the farthest ribbing under the floor . It all sounds ugly but when done properly it kind of looks good

Inside of front fenders were brown primer with body color over spray covered with black . I may have a set of factory painted fenders i can get a pic of .
Also the rear wheel tubs were brown primer with over spray of body color and under coated with body color over sprayed on the frame rails and also over spray of under coat

Here are a few pictures. Hundreds of labor hours between these stages.

With DP90 epoxy brushed into every crevice, then sprayed with 2 coats and minor pitting smoothed out..
Then time to install.

"New" parts after substantial contour modifications. I've never had a Mustang rear valance that was made correctly on the ends....is it just me?

Due to structural integrity (and rotisseries being occupied) it was decided to do the body blasting in two stages. This is the second round.

Because this came to us as an original paint car, I photo documented as much as I could before a wrench was turned. That included rear stripe dimensions and placement, rear body panel black -out, etc. If anyone has an interest in those, I can post them as well.
Hopefully this post isn't worthless any more. :D

And I thank those above for the great information. BTW, this car is a Metuchen built car with the Marti report confirming it to be a 428SCJ/Drag Pack/4:30/4 speed car. Code G Lime Metallic with green interior.
