Paint opinions wanted!

Hello everyone im new here. Anyways I have a 1988 GT Convertible, and Im stuck between three choices of how I want my car re painted. ( And it needs it very bad )

1: Same colors

2: Keep the red, change the ground effects to Black

3: Paint all red

If it helps i'm ordering new 95 Black Cobra Wheels to put on it

When our cars were new they were nearly identical. Your car brings back memories. Go over to the Fox 5.0 Talk section and look for the thread entitled ( My 88 GT vert). I posted it last week. It's on the second page.

Look at my vert, it might help with your decision.

All red. The black bottom would look horrible IMO, and the red grey two tone with black wheels would look too busy.

All red, its already a two tone with the black top. I'd rethink black wheels too...

All red... color change is a PITA and the red/gray is f'ing ugly.

Nice Vert! I am defiantly going with red, and I'm going to have to ponder if I want the black or gray cobra wheels now!

Yep besides the top colors our cars were once twins. Since yours has the black top, it would look great with Black Cobra wheels if you do away with the Titanium bottom and go with the solid red. If my top was black I would have Black Cobra wheels on mine.

I had black Cobra R's on an '87 vert I painted Grabber orange. It looked great!
I sure miss that car

I have to agree I'll have to see once it's painted and I'll post some pics for ya.

Didn't even plan on getting a mustang, was looking for something else, and just happen to run into this and fell in love.
