So I am getting ready to head down to florida to my fathers dealership to get the stang painted. I am still undecided on the color to go. It is red now and I am thinkning of orange but I dont know. I was also thinking on the front and partial hood of a really deep purple and the rest of the car black and then air brush it to make it look like the black is pealing back to expose the purple, but I cant find any pics of something like that to be able to show the paint guys. anyone know of where i can find pics of something like that?...or have any better ideas other than orange. With the orange I was going to have them paint the saleen stripes on the side door in gray, but i dont know. My dads 05 was done with stripes but i dont know if i want stripes or not?...and if i go with orange what color stripes would look good with it if i decided on orange.

Orange looks nice when accented with black....Im not a fan of stripes on the pre-2005 stangs, but if you did orange you could do black stripes and maybe black wheels. Would look really nice.

I think orange and a pale blue could go together...
Are you paying for it, because if not, have you thought about mistichrome?

misti chrome?..never heard of it. and no i am not paying for it, and I dont plan on puting any graphics on the car

mistic chrome, or mystichrome-not sure on spelling-was the paint that was offered on 96 Cobras and 04 I think. It's a color changing paint, looks different depending on the light. I think the hue varies from root beer brown to green/blue. Looks very cool and very unique, but I know the paint is really expensive.
