A little $10 modification I did this weekend.

I added a little Ford Blue to the engine bay...

The paint was just rustoleum Ford Blue high heat engine enamel, so nothing too special, just the good 'ole rattle can. I did use a primer with it thats specifically for plastics, but I don't remember the brand. I think the finish came out the way it did b/c of the plastic itself, not sure tho.

Anyway, i saw the Boss 302 covers (that look pretty much the same) going for ~$100, so I'm proud of my $10 paint job

I do like the looks. My dad took delivery of my 2012 candy red gt a few days ago till I get back from Kuwait. I am choming at the bit to drive it in a week and a half. I would like to do somthing simular. I would like them to match the body color and well as the manifold cover. I would think the candy red would take the heat as well.
