painted autometer gauge bezel

I'll be adding some gauges to an autometer gauge bezel (the one that surrounds the instrument cluster and has two gauges in it). It comes in black, but I have the medium graphite color in my 2001 GT's interior. Has anyone painted this bezel with the interior paints from Late Model Resotration or similar?? Any pics?? I think it would look odd if I left it black, but I don't want to screw up a $70 bezel by painting it badly. This was done with some left-over silver VHT caliper paint. It goes well with the dark grey interior, the brushed billet switched and a dead-nuts match with the silver UPR AC panel overlay.
