Finally finished getting the stripes painted black, then installed. This is not specific Engine Paint, so We'll see how the paint holds up.

I like the way it looks, but I do think I would have used engine (or a high temperature) paint.

The plastic covers dont get hot enough to "require" it. A guy on ALL Ford Mustang Forums used White Krylon Fusion paint and after several thousand miles it still looks great.

RC, not as blingy as the old stang..lol but it looks good

I think it looks great! Why not paint the words black? Did you tape the stripes off or just fill 'em in after you painted the red?
