I took 795.0pacecar's advice on this one and instead of a flat black, I went with a metalic charcoal to match my car. I think it is a nice offset for the polished plaque and the polished TB, what do you think?? It looks a little darker in the pics, but I like it!!!

Thanks, I used Rustoleum Metallic and sanded the whole thing down real well, I'll tell you what, those fins are a bitch!! lol I used paint thinner on Q tips to get down in there and clean all those up. Hopefully it will hold up to the heat of the bay, there are 3 coats in that pics and I am contemplating doing another.

I also plan on painting up some of the brackets and such, make it a bit more appealing.

Got it at wally world.

I like that color. Good job. I color matched my Explorer with left over paint from my car. But that intake will see Ebay real soon so I am sure the next guy will love the prep time to cover up my red..

Looks great. I think it will complement the rest of your car very well.

Looks good, what're you going to do with the IAC? Paint or polish? I'm thinking either way will look good

Thanks for all the compliments.

I plan on trying to polish the IAC first, if I can't get it to look good, I will just paint it.

I had the most embarassing night ever just now though. I just got home from my GF's house, listen to this BS. So I took my GF out to eat at a nice italian place, then we went to meet up with some friends to Ice skate. Well afterwards, me, my GF, and my GF's friend went to her house to watch a movie. We get to her house at like midnight, then we realize we don't have any good movies to watch. I took her lil bro with me to get a movie, grandma's boy. We were all watching it in her basement when her dad came and said that my mom was there WTF!!!?!?!

This was like 1:25 BTW, and now I am more pissed then ever, b/c my mom is gay, its not even a big deal that we were watching a movie in her basement together, hell they are letting us have our own hotel room when we go to Clemson next month to check out the campus...
