I am going to be sanding and painting my 1983 mustang soon and I was wondering what to do about the little dents all over the car. I thought of using bondo and filling in the dents and creases so I could paint over, but then I thought, would the bondo fall out from the dents over time? Can somebody please help me out with this one.

Thanks

Hey bunnk, pages and pages can be written on this, but it's all basically gonna say the same. If you have access to air tools, fire up the DA sander with some 80 grit or maybe rougher, and rip the paint off down to the metal, giving your putty a good rough surface to stick to. Dry sand the filler with a block or board sander, starting with 80, finishing with 180 or 220 grit, then lay on some good filler primer, and check for a level surface. If it still don't look good, sand off the primer, lay more putty, prime, sand again till you get it right. Take your time man. Don't just lay your putty on the paint. If you really want some serious advice, check out the bulletin board at autobodystore.com. Really good group of extremely knowledgable, professional body guys there. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
