So I realize this has probbably been asked a thousand times before, but has anyone used Maaco or Earl Scheib to have their car painted and what was the result? Even if you know someone who used either of those places, what was the result of the paint job?

Use the seach function......but I have heard a few guys using Maaco and it seems to trully be a hit or miss. Remember that going to your local family owned body shop is usally the best way to get a good paint job....It may cost you more upfront, but in the end is rewarding for many years to come when your paint still looks new and isnt chipping.

your question caught my eye my brothers a painter and i worked in the shop with him for a while.both places you get what you pay for.you can check out my site on gotstang.com look up profile for candyblackcherry90 you can see my resto from beginning to end and how paint turned out if it's done right and you use the right products it will look good and last a long time depending on how much you want to spend and how much time you put into it plus painter needs to know how prep it and spray it right.where do you live at.hope this helps out.
