Painting fan shroud

Has anyone done this? How'd it come out? Easy to remove/put back in?

Are you talking about the plastic shroud? If so, just use vinyl dye. You CAN'T mess this stuff up. Even if you have runs on it, they soak in in a day or two. BUT, there are limited colors available.

Where can I buy vinyl dye? Would I be able to die it with it still bolted in the car? Yes this is the little plastic piece. Thanks

The dye is available at any AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc or at Wal Mart. The cool thing is, if you decide you don't like it, buy some black and go over it.
