Painting My stock 2000 GT rims

Im thinking of painting them black since im blacking out the front and rear lights. Im gonna be getting slaeen 5 spoke rims in black but i don't have the funds now. What do you guys think. Does anyone have any pictures of them painted?

If you do it right and don't half arse it, it may look good till you get the saleens. Here is a pic i took of someone that did this

Ive used duplicolor wheel coating with good success , had a set of bronze wheels for awhile , dont have any pictures of them on my car but here is and idea of what it looked like.

IMO powder coat em, it doesn't cost that much and they'll last longer.
