I got my Mustangworld vinyl letters ~5 years ago and they still look great.

I had painted mine years ago.....It is NOT WORTH MY TIME>....THose things are DIRT CHEAP anywhere on the net.

Dont waste your time painting....not very much leeway for error.

Look obviously he doesn't want to buy vinyl letters he wants to paint it. All you need is some green 3m 1" masking tape then something to cover were you dont want paint i use plastic at the body shop i work at. Then buy some 800 grit sand paper and 1000 grit. Startt with 800 till its all the way down to the basecoat should be rough. Just dont bare down real hard then go over it with 1000 grit till its smooth then plow it off and wipe with a towel till all the body dust is off then shoot the paint. Then cler coat if u want to.then let dry. Simple as that if u decide to clearcoat i recommend doing it in a garage so dust and debris from outside dont get in it. And spray the black paint really lightly or u will get runs then its a mess. Also same with clearcoat. If u get paint on something u didnt want it on use some laquer thinner and lil elbow grease. Have fun - panda. Ps im a professional

i got my letters on ebay for under $6 shipped. eric, if you want ill post pics with and without the black letters. it may be helpful since our cars are the same color.

Way too much work. EBay stickers on my car for over 6 years, still look brand new. I wouldn't risk overspray on the car.
