Hey fellas, My 93 coupe, 5 spd. with 92k miles is giving me a problem. I notice lateley that when I let off the gas in gear there is a noticeable drag. This is new and becoming more noticeable.

The only thing I know thats wrong with my car is that it really grinds going into 2nd gear. I usually bypass it to 3rd.

Other than that, any ideas? Where to start? Is it the tranny?

Perhaps the fan clutch going out?

Have the brakes been checked lately? (especially the drums and ebrake cable)

How about the clutch?

Does the engine rev freely while in neutral? If so then you know it's drivetrain related and not the engine itself.
