Part Throttle Problem on Blown 00 gt

My 00 GT is choking when I give it any throttle at all. It won't really even move it chokes so bad.

My tuner can't figure it out. He thinks its mechanical.

The car has forged internals, stage 2 comp cams, ported heads, vortech s trim @ 17psi, paxton air to air intercooler, 04 cobra pumps.
Any ideas? Thanks

I would first check all of your connections to your intake and your supercharger. If you have a loose connection on one of these it will completely choke it. I had this happen on my truck. The FIPK was coming loose near the MAF and I didnt see it causing it to instantly choke and not let me go anywhere.
If its not this than hopefully someone else will be able to chime in.

Was the tuner dataloging anything? That would be your best bet otherwise any answers you get here are going to be just guesses.

the MAF voltage is bouncing up and down and the whistle from the blower is surging.

Did this start with the blower install or did it run OK for a while with the blower? Check your front O2 sensors. Mine just burned out from race gas and the car would hardly run except in cold startup mode or WOT.

Who built the engine? Maybe the cams are not timed properly.

built by x2c but how could it be timed improperly if it is ok at idle and WOT?

Well then, I'm back to the O2 sensors. They are not used at idle or WOT, but are used the rest of the time. If they fail, the car will hardly run.

Yea thats what I thought so I replaced them. But still the same thing. Do you think the compressor surge would cause the choking?

No, I think it's in the tune.

I had real bad compressor surge on mine under decel. and cruise control and it never choke from idle-2000rpms. Above 2000rpms the bypass wouldn't let enough air out and the car would buck real bad. You are definitely going to need to upgrade the bypass to fix your surge, so I would start there. Once that is fixed you might be able to pin point the problem. If your tuner didn't help problem solve, then i would get a new tuner.
