Back in 94 when I had my GT all of week, I went to the local speed shop and special ordered the famous "K&N FIltercharger Kit." As I waited the one week's time for it to come in I dreamed of how it would roast the tires in all gears once installed. I finally got the phone call I had been longing for: "Your K&N is in". I huried to the speed shop, forked over the $120 and rushed outside with the box in hand. Like a kid on Christmas I tore it open and then just stared in shock ... I said to myself "WTF, it's just an air filter?". I went back into the store and asked the guy if it was missing something since they pictured it with the MAF. The guy said "nope, it's just an air filter." I was even more mad when I installed it and realized it was a hot air intake. I would have made out better just hooking up my exhaust to my intake

That and anything with the letters "BBK".

I do the EXACT same thing! a friend of mine has a 90gt, an 86 gt and an 86 vert. I know exactly what not to buy through his experiences. i just wait till he breaks something, and go with something better.

speaking of this, dont buy MAC caster / camber plates. he just went over a set of railroad tracks and broke one of his in half.

A cheap tie rod end I got off of ebay...

Until it got here and I realized it was a neck tie hanger end cap.

No joke!!! Can't believe I haven't told this one.

My bro-in-law had a 98 V6 Camaro back in 2001 or 2002.

He bought off of ebay an "Air Intake" that was supposed to increase h.p. and gas mileage. So my wife and I are inside watching television. After about a half hour of him fumbling around outside he comes and asks me to help him put it on. So he hands it to me outside and I just start laughing hysterically and crying my eyes out.

He say's "What's so damn funny?"

Holding the part I said, "Dude this didn't look familiar to you at all?"

He said "No"

Someone sent him a PVC Coupling spray painted black with ricer stickers on it!!!

I swear to God in Heaven... If I'm lying I'm dying

BBK Offroad H-Pipe.....that POS could NEVER seal right at the mufflers OR in the H crossover. Gave that real ford exhaust leak that annoyed the hell out of me.
